It seems to have a problem zooming in on this hair it makes me wonder if it's trying to draw the mohawk since that is what it is replacing. I'm just wondering if it might be better to use a different more similiar hairstyle as the replacement target. I am also experiencing the crashing issues. What I've noticed is that the game is likely to crash in one of two scenarios:0 V1 v ?. K. y
1. When using the dresser to 'Plan Outfit' or 'Change Outfit'2 a' A6 Y0 k' x1 N/ k4 I% U, O
- Any sim entering the 'Plan Outfit' mode or using the dresser at all will cause a crash without notification of any sort0 C l$ N# ~) ]
2. When a sim leaves the lot for work, school, shopping, etc.1 H* a" y7 W9 ~ `" A( f, y x
- I've noticed that sometimes the crash occurs whenever ANY sim leaves the lot and sometimes, it doesn't seem to care. Though, whenever my sim wearing the hair actually leaves the lot, it automatically crashes.
I've found some random work-abouts that I use to keep my game running. Before I use the dresser to affect any sim's outfits or leave the lot, I have to take the sim wearing this hair to the mirror and 'Change Appearance' so that they are not currently wearing that hair. If the hair is not being displayed, then I have no crashing issues.
Beyond that, I absolutely LOVE this hair. Its beautiful and replaces the one hair style that I am unlikely to EVER use in the game. So, thanks again!

i have just returned from playing my game & I see some of you are having problems with the hair working in the game. I read somewhere that it works in CAS but not in-game. The only help I can contribute is describing what I did in my game for it to work, but as mentioned in the thread, some games will allow it to play just fine, others might not. I created a sim in CAS using a maxis hair. then once i put her into a house, i just had her change her appearance and changed her hair to peggy's new one. the game didnt crash. i didnt play, so i cant say it interferes with anything else. i hope that this little contribution my help to resolve the problem./ t/ j3 V$ L' l, w! p7 I~xtinabobina.

Hair is for sale right now in the EA store (just as lame as the original I might add I spent some free points on it) so they are probably encoding the hair in a way that creators like Peggyzone that blow them away cannot take that business away right now. A year from now they will likely give it up.

OK the first step in setting up the resource.cfg so that mods/new data can be recognized you are going to have to get the resource.cfg from peggy's file
Once you have gotten the resource.cfg extracted it is pretty simple ok now you are most likely asking where does this go I am confused.
I have seen some people put the resource.cfg into C:/My Documents\Electronic Arts/The Sims 3. This is incorrect it does not go there. It goes in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3.
What we want to do now is copy the resource.cfg file we just got from peggys file after extracting it and paste it into C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3.

We have now successfully added the resource.cfg!
Now here comes the final step:

Ok now that we have the resource.cfg added to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 you now want to create a Mods Folder in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3.6 q' [! o' [1 `4 l. P Z, j
Once you have the Mods Folder created open it up now you want to create a sub-folder called Packages and once that is created we are finished and have successfully completed getting the resource.cfg installed and now mods/new data can recognized by TS3 !. L9 |' B {% O, t( U
When you download any mods/CC they are to go into C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages

Notes: Once you add the Resource.cfg there is no need to add any additional resource.cfg files.
The reason you see the resource.cfg in a lot of the mods/hacks downloads you download is modders are including these for the down loaders who may not have the resource.cfg.
