hi, this post is dedicated for those who have questions with OUR sims3 new skin...

here are explanations to all.
about installation:
Place that file in The Sims 3.app > Contents > Resources > transgaming > c_drive > Program Files > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3.  Then place any .package files in The Sims 3.app > Contents > Resources > transgaming > c_drive > Program Files > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Mods > Packages


The most important thing to clear is that our new skin is a DEFAULT VERSION.
THE DOWNLOAD SKIN WON'T APPEAR FOR SELECTION.
The game will recognize it, automatically i mean.

there, now u can read on:
go into the CAS(create a sim) interface and check out ur femal model face. Ur new female sim face SKIN will look exactly to the download one.
attention: JUST FACE SKIN, not including the eye color, the eyebrow style, the hair style and hair color.

adjust the skin tone to white. then it will look more similar to the download pic.

I have a question.  I downloaded the hair mod and put it in my game and it works great...it said to put the resource.cfg in the sims folder.

I downloaded the skin mod and it said to put the resource.cfg in the sims folder, too, but since I already have one with that name in there I can't put it in that folder.  Can you have the hair and the skin mods or can you only have one or the other in your game?  Does that make sense?

Also, does this replace the uncensored patch?  Because if they take a shower or go to the bathroom they still have the pixels covering them.

Dear crysbear, I am having same problem. I have the skin but not the hair... since I added the skin first.

you can enjoy the skin and hair simultaneously in the game, and even more other custom content.
you will just need one .cfg file in sims folder. it means that if .cfg file already exists in sims folder, there is no need to replace or reinstall it.
from then on, it is the .package file that need to be installed.

I did that. Now, do I find the hair where all the other hair is found.. meaning while creating a sim, I go to choose hair.. and there are two locations.. one is the hair and the other is hair with accessories like hats, hair bands, etc. I have looked at both locations and the hair is not there.

Plz help, i've done everything right but i can't get it to work! Before i tried to download this i downloaded Increased Texture Detail & Shine - TS3 Skin Replacements by HystericalParoxysm at mod the sims using the helper monkey and can't seem to delete them from my game so the other skins aren't showing up. Since they aren't in the mods > packages i can't delete them, the skins for the faces seem to be showing up though but that's all i get. Plz plz plz help!!!!

delete the (simCompositorCache.package), in User\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3, because sims 3 will save texture mods in game , even after u delete the mod.

I can see the new default face as you showed above but I don't understand how to choose the nude version of the character. There are no options in the clothing, so I really don't know.

for me, I clicked on the mohawk hairstyle and it replace that with the peggyzone hair style.

    • Okay... the only part of the peggyzone skin is how to get the female nude. For the male skin, I have the abs and all. But still I have the pixel cenors covering the body.

    So how do I get my sims bare nude (Particular the female sims)without pixels?

    or use the hack file from MTS, it's only a package file, doesn't replace anything and you only have to place it in the Mods folder . imo it's better than the replacement of shaders_win32 file

    i cant seem to get the new swim suite for the girls downloded on my sims3. I have the girls skin it works fine but i want the swin muite the installation thing doesnt work and firefox did nothing for me last time. Peggy  moderator or any other person who relizes what i am doing wrong plz help me i want the swim suite!

    all you do is you put recource.cfg in the rootsims3 folder and in the \elecronic arts\sims3 create a new folder called Mods and in Mods create a folder called packages. They give you a .package all you do is place it in your Package file and when you open your sims3 you will have a note come up which from there you instal your skin

    I've a problem with the skin tone and the nude patch, it does not appear in the game, I know the nude patch works only when the sims is having a shower or things like that, but when they do, there are still the mosaic that hides them.. and the skin tone does not appear at all when i'm creating a sim ! It stays normal
    I have the resource.cfg, I have the packages files and everything, but it still doesn't work :/ Why ?

    I got everything working perfectly. My only problem is that the male body skin becomes the default for all male sims. It looks really bad on fat people.

    Hi... I registered just for this... I know you must be tired to hear this but....
    I used to have aikea guinea skin, and now I want to use the peggy skin. I think I deleted the right file for the aikea guinea skin, and I installed the peggy skin and the faces, I deleted the simcompositorcache. However, only the faces appear in game.  I also have HystericalParoxysm shines and body details. I am wondering how I can get the skin to show.
