Help! My sim's hair changes in the shower!

For some reason, even though I made sure my sim's hair is the default for each outfit in CAS, when he goes to take a shower his hair switches from http://www.peggyzone.com/objectimg/peggyzone-sims3-DONATE-MFhair0028-1-b.jpg to this http://www.peggyzone.com/objectimg/peggyzone-sims3-DONATE-MFhair0029-1-b.jpg and I don't know how to fix it. I have the nomosaic.package mod installed to fix the censor, but it doesn't seem to be conflicting with anything because I don't have this problem with other sims....What can I do to keep it from changing? please help!

bcuz he is taking shower!!lol.....sometimes this kind of error happened in 3D games, it's very normal i think.
there maybe several reasons for that:
1 low computer requirements
2 need to reinstall the game
3 your computer got virus attacked
......
use friendliness but do not use your friends.
None of your reasons are valid...I have more than enough ram (1.5GB video card) plus the patches and everything is up to date with my game...Why should I reinstall when that seems to be my only problem, and I just got a new anti-virus - Norton360, so I don't think any of those reasons are valid....can anyone else offer some reasonable advice...I know I'm not the only person that this has happened to...there has to be a solution somewhere?
I had the same problem, a long time ago, so I don't remember with wich hair. But I'm sure, that is not the hair you are talking about, because I didn't download it. On one forum once it was a dicsusion about this problem with one specific hair. And then the author repair this hair, so that this wasn't hapenning anymore. So i think that problem is in hair, not in computer or the game.
Don't worry, be happy!

As she mentioned, u should also provide the specific hair that has this problem, so that pegy may fix it!

Like both darja121 and taurus touched upon, my first thought would be that something is making those two hairs conflict. Conflicting custom content was very frequent in the Sims 2, and with the designers just setting foot into the realm that is custom content for the Sims 3, it wouldn't be unusual for problems to arise.

First off, has this happened with any other hairstyles you've downloaded? If it does, your problem probably lies in an entirely different area, for which we recommend posting in the Sims 3 section of the forum. If this is the first time such a thing has occured, please read on.

I'd recommend taking out the latter of the hair packages (this one), to see if the problem persists. If it does, take out the first hairstyle (this one) and switch the default hairstyle for your Sims to one that hasn't caused you any trouble so far.

Does the problem still occur? If not, one of those packages might not be optimised for usage yet. You can let the moderators of the forum know by posting in this forum section; it seems to be the most frequently checked.

If the problem does persist, it might be some of your other custom content conflicting with each other. I recommend trying the 50/50 method: taking out half of the packages you've downloaded, put them in some folder on your desktop where they're safe, then boot up your game and check if the problem still persists. If it does, the half that is still in your Downloads folder is the one that has the problem in it. It might be a slow process, but you need to repeat the 50/50 method or just take out individual files to see if the same happens.

If not, the half of the packages you took out might have the problem. Slowly copy files from the folder on your desktop to your Downloads folder, checking your game in-between to see if any problem arises.

I hope this helps
not the best you've ever had, but you say I'm pretty close ...
@ darja121- yes, it was definitely the hair...I unpackaged it with Sims3PackageExplorer, and repackaged it with MTS DABOOBS mod tool and made sure to not check the singed and all options and (even though the new version I packaged has some slight variations because I'm no expert on Meshes and Textures) the problem is fixed...No more shower probs.

@ taurus - I already left image links to the hairs that were conflicting in my first original post.

@ fayriesakura - If I hadn't already fixed it, I'm sure I would have used your method, as it was the only logical resolution offered.

@ ALL - Thank you all for your help. I would still like a fixed version of the ORIGINAL peggy hair that I had to repackage...but I guess, until then, I will settle for the temporary one that I fixed.
Thanks again!

if you're not happy at home, you're not happy anywhere else.

I'm not a main designer on the site, so I wouldn't know how to fix that problem without getting very technical, but I have spread the message to the other mods with higher powers than me (), so hopefully it will be fixed soon!
In the mean time, my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience on your account.
