excited? rejective?
I think it's kind of sad that games leak so early, but there's nothing much you can do about it. It's the internet, after all; once someone gets a hold of a file, it can spread very quickly to the rest of the world. As to how it could happen, well ... how does anything get leaked onto the internet? Inside-job, mostly likely.
I wouldn't run it, anyway. I'm not surprised to see it leaked, but I wouldn't go around downloading it. Firstly, because early leaks and releases have the tendency to be unstable; also, to run it, you would need to crack (ie. hack into the game) the game and said cracks are notoriously famous for disguising Trojan horses and other viruses. And secondly, because I've always bought my copy of the games, like I buy CDs. I'm old-fashioned that way
not the best you've ever had, but you say I'm pretty close ...
I don't think it's a big deal that it got leaked early. It's not the final version, so anyone who has downloaded it will not have all of the things that will come with the real game! From what I've heard around the Sims community, those who have downloaded the game early and played it actually want to buy it MORE than they did before! So maybe this early leaked version will be helping the game sales more than hurting it.
I do agree with fayriesakura about downloading it. Not only does the download take a very long time to complete, but you do have to crack it to make it work. There's two versions of the game being downloaded; one has a virus and the other doesn't. Why take that chance? I enjoy having a hard-copy version (CD version) because it's much more convenient!
