I have downloaded winzip and winrar but still no hair in game winzip, hair, winrar, downloaded, game

I get an acces denied window from my computer how do I fix this? I had to put a mod and package folder in after the Sims 3 Is it a windows vista problem...frustrating. I am willing to pay for great hair but not until I get it to download right...help please.

there r several possible reasons for that:
1 use IE or Firefox to download from peggyzone
2 some people put the resource.cfg into C:/My Documents\Electronic Arts/The Sims 3. This is incorrect it does not go there. It goes in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3.

create a Mods Folder in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3.
4 open up the Mods Folder, then
create a sub-folder called Packages
5 any mods/CC they are to go into C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages

First of all, are you using a Mac or a PC? There are separate instructions for each system. Also, do you have any screen shots? That might be helpful. I'd be more than willing to help if I know the specifics

I have it set up right but i think I will try firefox because I think it's the winrar that is messing it up. Thanks you for your reply I did find a second package file in the wrong place. But still not working
