I have problem with CAS! Help me plz!

I've played The Sims 3 on my Vaio laptop for 2 months and it worked well all the time until I updated it to the latest version 1.4.6. Then whenever I enter CAS, my sim's skin looks dark and pale, and the hair doesn't show up correctly like it used to be, I mean it looks so weird and unsmooth. But when I put my sim back into game, the skin and the hair turn into normal, and the game still runs well.
I've tried to move the Mods folder to my desktop then went into the game, the problem is still there. I've also tried to reinstall the game so many times, but they're all the same.
Please, can anyone tell me how to solve this problem? I've been looking it up in many Sims 3 forums, but I hardly find out a clue. I'm really confused and this thing is getting on my nerves. Help me please! T________________T
First of all, are you talking about Create A Sim or Create A Style? (I'm guessing Sim).
When you reinstalled it, did you update it?
I'm not really sure. You can ask for help at EA here.
I hope this helps ^_^
ooh, your problems start with  the very latest, 1.4.x patch!! lots of person met the trouble..
Now we're in the thick of it along with PC users and we're going to get the same deluge of bugs and problems that
they have always been subjected to. I have not yet installed the patch to the patch, (1.4.x) as I've officially
got cold feet now when it comes to trusting these patches EA is putting out.

The best thing to do, heosua_angel, might be to post on the official site so that EA is made aware of how widespread of a problem it is.
use friendliness but do not use your friends.
Taurus, I totally agree with you!. And I feel sorry for heosua_angel, who was brave enought to install the patch. I didn't want to, I was so afraid, and that was good, because so I keep my game the way it is (not perfect, but steel playable). I know, that this patch isn't compatible with CC, so I don't want it! And I also can't help harousa_angel. If the uninstalling and installing  game doesn't help, then what? On sims3 website there is a tutorial about that. And preety tricky too ... something about going to registry and manually deleting all stuff that stays there after uninstalling TS3. That's for some PC guru, not for the people like me!
