Downloading help with hair/skin in Vista PC

Downloading, Vista, hair, skin, help

I have read and read and read and did what I was to download correctly and nothing works for my computer either. Resource.cfg is in the sims 3 folder. I created the mod and the package folder as well. I deleted reinstalled and deleted items twice and still nothing. I deleted the xxxxcache.package for the sims 3 folder which I had two and still not sure if I deleted the right package because some sim bodies were invisible except for head and feet in the game and then the game crashed while I was in CAS. xxxxcache.package is not very clear as there are a couple of files that are similar. I would like to be a super member but I can't download anything from the site it would be pointless. If any one else has a Vista PC and can completely resolve this issue please email me at BrownButterfly74@aol.com Sometimes its hard for me to relocate theses forums, but I will definetly try. Thanks to anyone who can help.

i use vista....the folders we have to create is named 'Mods' and 'Packages', not mod, Mod, mods, package, packages, Package.

Black Holes are where God divided by zero...

but have no clue how to make a new folder(s)
