I'm just wondering if it might be better to use a different more similiar hairstyle as the replacement target. Maybe the hair is just confusing the engine by being so dramatically different that what it thinks it is.9 X& w( o8 B; F/ I3 Z, U

I am also experiencing the crashing issues.  What I've noticed is that the game is likely to crash in one of two scenarios:- F" c6 ^- M; A: n/ f' _
1.  When using the dresser to 'Plan Outfit' or 'Change Outfit'6 C) x% n# Y" N; R
  - Any sim entering the 'Plan Outfit' mode or using the dresser at all will cause a crash without notification of any sort
  c8 M6 ~6 G! u* H( ?( }- e2.  When a sim leaves the lot for work, school, shopping, etc./ o- a8 k- S7 S- K+ `
  - I've noticed that sometimes the crash occurs whenever ANY sim leaves the lot and sometimes, it doesn't seem to care.  Though, whenever my sim wearing the hair actually leaves the lot, it automatically crashes.- O7 X1 @, W* J! K

$ `8 g* u, [1 [$ a% BI've found some random work-abouts that I use to keep my game running.  Before I use the dresser to affect any sim's outfits or leave the lot, I have to take the sim wearing this hair to the mirror and 'Change Appearance' so that they are not currently wearing that hair.  If the hair is not being displayed, then I have no crashing issues.7 g6 L5 J0 ]" |/ C# w

& H/ l  S4 d; v; W: ^' f- x/ t5 w/ NBeyond that, I absolutely LOVE this hair.  Its beautiful and replaces the one hair style that I am unlikely to EVER use in the game.  So, thanks again!

Maybe Peggy can find a way to fix the issue soon I hope, so our sims can wear the hair to anywhere anytime

3 z  }9 N- J: Q& j4 kSo looks like it will need a little tweaking still to get it fully working from the creator.. It's a very nice hair though, can't wait to see it woking perfectly but I have the same issue, crash in game on zoom actions or coming into focus from zoom or off lot.

hello i have just returned from playing my game & I see some of you are having problems with the hair working in the game. I read somewhere that it works in CAS but not in-game. The only help I can contribute is describing what I did in my game for it to work, but as mentioned in the thread, some games will allow it to play just fine, others might not. I created a sim in CAS using a maxis hair. then once i put her into a house, i just had her change her appearance and changed her hair to peggy's new one. the game didnt crash. i didnt play, so i cant say it interferes with anything else. i hope that this little contribution my help to resolve the problem., O( ~& `% i" o. / i- E; y' L. P* a/ tTried that and still crashed, You may not crash if you are playing a single sim and never have to zoom from neighborhood view that's when it crashes.

Hair is for sale right now in the EA store (just as lame as the original I might add I spent some free points on it) so they are probably encoding the hair in a way that creators like Peggyzone that blow them away cannot take that business away right now. A year from now they will likely give it up.

I have the same problem,within 20 seconds of changing to the new hair the game blows up=/,beauitiful hair tho guys=),hopefully i'll be able to use it ingame soon=).

New hair is terrific....However, I found that it crashed my game when I tried to move my Sims to a new lot...I used both the computer and the Consol and once she was placed on a new lot the game crashed....Otherwise it is working fine....Judie....http://www.all-about-style.com
